Get your California flooring contractors license. Our program makes the licensing process very simple, which allows most of our students to get their flooring contractors license within 4-6 weeks.
As a flooring and floor covering contractor, you will be able to prepare any surface for the installation of flooring and floor coverings, and install carpet, resilient sheet goods, resilient tile, wood floors and flooring (including the finishing and repairing thereof), and any other materials established as flooring and floor covering material.
The flooring classification does not include ceramic tile installation.
Before you can apply for your flooring contractors license, you must meet the following experience requirements:
- 4 years of experience performing/supervising C15 flooring work.
- A college degree can be substituted for up to three years of that experience.
- The State now accepts self-employed experience.
In order to obtain your flooring contractors license, you are required to pass the Trade examination as well as the Law & Business exam.
98% of our students pass the state exam on their first try. Click here to read our student's testimonies.
